Hi, I'm Steven Drake, owner of Chillax Heating and Air Conditioning LLC, your new go-to for heating, cooling, and indoor air quality solutions right here in Shelby County, Tennessee.

I was drawn to this line of work because I love problem solving. Every system is like its own puzzle, and there’s something deeply satisfying about diagnosing a problem, fixing it, and knowing I’ve helped make someone’s day a little more comfortable. After years of hands-on experience as an HVAC technician, I took a leap of faith and launched Chillax to build something rooted in honesty, reliability, and top-notch service. My goal is to help you get as many years out of your current system as possible, rather than selling you a new one at the first minor inconvenience.​

Behind the scenes, my wife Halli plays a huge role in keeping everything running smoothly. While I’m out in the field, she’s managing the details, keeping things organized, and making sure I don’t lose my mind... or my tools.​

Chillax isn’t just a name. It comes from the early-2000s slang term “chillax,” short for “chill and relax.” That’s exactly how we want you to feel when the job’s done.
