Hi, I'm Steven Drake, owner of Chillax Heating and Air Conditioning LLC—your new go-to for heating, cooling, and indoor air quality solutions right here in Shelby County, Tennessee.
I was drawn to this line of work because I love problem solving. Every system is like its own puzzle, and there’s something deeply satisfying about diagnosing a problem, fixing it, and knowing I’ve helped make someone’s day a little more comfortable. After years of hands-on experience as an HVAC technician, I took a leap of faith and launched Chillax to build something rooted in honesty, reliability, and top-notch service. My goal is to help you get as many years out of your current system as possible, rather than selling you a new one at the first minor inconvenience.
Behind the scenes, my wife Halli plays a huge role in keeping everything running smoothly. While I’m out in the field, she’s managing the details, keeping things organized, and making sure I don’t lose my mind... or my tools.
Whether it’s a complex repair or routine maintenance, we’re here to keep your home comfortable through every season. We stand behind the quality of our diagnoses and repairs. That’s why every repair we perform comes with a 90-day labor guarantee.
If the repair fails within 90 days, we’ll come back and take care of it at no additional labor cost. Simple as that.
We believe in doing the job right the first time, and our guarantee is just one more way we can give you peace of mind.
What’s not covered: Unrelated issues, or damage from lack of maintenance, misuse, or outside factors (like power surges).
Our Right to Refuse Service
We work hard to treat every customer with respect and professionalism, and we ask for the same in return.
To protect our team and maintain a safe, fair working environment, Chillax reserves the right to refuse service under certain circumstances, including but not limited to:

Safety Concerns – If conditions on-site present a risk to our technicians or your property (such as unsafe work areas, hazardous materials, or equipment that cannot be serviced safely), we may decline or postpone service until it can be done responsibly.

Hostile or Abusive Behavior – We will not tolerate verbal abuse, threats, harassment, or aggressive behavior toward any member of our team. Respectful communication is expected at all times.

Dishonesty or Misrepresentation – If false or misleading information is provided that affects our ability to perform work properly or safely, we may refuse or discontinue service.
