Emergency HVAC Repair in Memphis, TN

Signs Your HVAC System May Need Emergency Repair

Not every HVAC issue requires emergency service, but some situations should not wait. If you experience any of the issues below, it may be time to call for emergency assistance:

  • Your AC stops working during extreme heat, especially during heat advisories

  • Your furnace stops working during freezing temperatures

  • Active water damage caused by HVAC drainage issues

  • Safety concerns, such as:

    • Possible carbon monoxide exposure

    • Electrical problems

    • Burning smells or other signs of a potential hazard

  • A vulnerable person in the home, including young children, older adults, or individuals with medical conditions or disabilities

If you are unsure whether your situation qualifies as an emergency, give us a call. We’re happy to help you determine the best next step.

After-Hours Emergency Service

When you need emergency service outside of normal business hours, our goal is to restore your system as quickly as possible. In many cases, we can complete the repair during the initial visit.

However, some repairs require specialty parts that may not be available after hours, overnight, or on weekends. If a specific part is needed, we’ll do our best to restore your system to a safe and temporary operating condition when possible, then return during normal business hours once the necessary parts become available.

After-hours visits may include a $100 emergency service fee in addition to any diagnostic fees or repair costs. As a small, family-operated business, emergency calls often mean stepping away from family time to be available when our customers need us. This fee helps us continue offering after-hours service while respecting the time and commitment required to provide it.

Unlike many larger companies, we do not use call centers or AI answering services. When you call, you’re reaching out directly to your technician. If we’re unable to answer right away, please leave a voicemail or send us a text message, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

What to Expect During an Emergency Diagnostic Visit

When you call for emergency HVAC service, our goal is to quickly identify the problem and explain your options clearly.

During a diagnostic visit, we typically:

  • Inspect the indoor and outdoor components of the system

  • Test electrical components, safety switches, and controls

  • Check refrigerant pressures and system operation

  • Evaluate airflow and overall performance

  • Identify the cause of the issue and recommend repair options

Once we understand what is happening, we’ll review our findings with you before performing any work. No repairs are completed without your approval, and we’re always happy to answer questions so you can make an informed decision about the next steps.
